Welcome to today’s Wordless Wednesday! These photos are of a mushroom WIP I’m making out of polymer clay! Jebediah is about 1 1/4 inches high. I will be putting him in a scene that will go on Etsy! Woo hoo! I’m still working on him, but I hope to have him finished by next week! I’d love to hear ideas for the scene! I was thinking a little creature of some kind. Maybe a snail?
See you next week! Love and Light!

This fun post is in response to a cool Blog Hop I came across! It’s a 20 Questions Blog Hop! You can play along by going over to Eclectic Evelyn’s post! This was my first time to her blog, and boy was I surprised when I got to her 2nd answer and realized we live in the the SAME STATE!!! Wild and Wonderful West Virginia baby!!! Yeah!!! LOL
So, with no further ado, on to the 20 questions!
Do you have pets? Yes, we have a German Shepherd named Zeus, and a cranky kitty named Meow Meow!
Hang gliding or whitewater rafting? I have a fear of both falling and drowning, so that’s a hard choice, but I’m with you, Evelyn, I’d have to choose rafting! Or maybe a log ride at Camden Park? LOL
Have you ever traveled outside of the United States? Yes, I have been to Canada once on vacation.
How many states have you visited? I think it would be about 8 states. Basically from New York to Florida!
If you could have any magical power what would it be? Being able to change into anything! I think it would be fun to flit like a butterfly or cruise the oceans like a whale!
Stilettos or sneakers? I’d choose barefoot as well, but next would be sneakers (or tennis shoes, as I call them).
Instagram or Snapchat? I don’t get Snapchat at all. LOL My kids love it! I much prefer Instagram! Maybe that’s because I AM a “gram”??? They call me GRAMma! LOL
The journey or the destination? Another toughie! In general, I’d have to say the journey. Although, if the destination were Hawaii, I’d have to reserve the right to change my mind!
What are you grateful for this month? SPRING!!!
What book are you reading? Harry Potter has ruined me for all other books. LOL
What did you eat for dinner last night? Baked potatoes!
What is something currently on your to-do list that has been there more than a month? Give the dog a bath.
What is the first thing you reach for in the morning? My glasses.
What is your favorite ice cream flavor? Reece Cup.
What is your favorite local restaurant for breakfast? Breakfast…. that’s that meal that morning people eat, right? LOL
What is your favorite season? Summer!
What is your state’s motto or slogan? Mountaineers are always free. Or… West Virginia Wild and Wonderful!
Where do you think all the lost socks go? I think they’ve gotten stuck in a parallel Universe.
Who is your favorite Disney Princess? The Little Mermaid= Ariel
What question would you like me to ask in next month’s hop? Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi? LOL
That was fun! Thank you Evelyn! I hope to play again! Everyone is welcome to play along by going to Evelyn’s post!
Gardening Season is fast approaching, and I can’t wait! There is NOTHING like a fresh, straight from the garden tomato! We are lucky enough to have a good bit of space for a “proper” garden, but I know there are many of you who don’t. So, I’d like to share some tips and ideas that will help you grow a good bit of food in a small space garden!
Laundry Basket Strawberry Planter
I really love this idea! Instead of using the little flower pot style strawberry planter, that really doesn’t give you a very big harvest, why not UPSIZE that and use a laundry basket? This video will show you exactly how to create your very own large strawberry garden that will only take up a couple feet of space on your patio or yard! This video shows you can put flowers on the top, but you could also put another food crop, such as lettuce!
Another new way to grow when you have a little yard to work with is Vertical Raised Bed gardens! Not only can you grow a LOT of plants in a small and normally unused space, but it’s also quite beautiful to look at! This way is especially nice for people who have back issues, or trouble bending over for whatever reason. It’s great for kids, older adults, or the disabled! https://youtu.be/WznAAAJEVmw
Square Foot Garden
Square Foot Gardening has been a popular and effective choice for many people since the 1980’s. It involves building a small structure that can be divided into 1-foot squares, where you grow a certain type of plant in each. It’s easy to maintain, and you can get a good amount of food, but it can be hard for those with mobility problems who can’t bend over. Although, there is a raised bed version that might be a little easier to reach for some people. https://youtu.be/f2FxJimob84
Grow Large Vegetables in Containers
From what you’ve seen so far, you might be thinking you can only grow SMALL vegetables in these small space gardens, but that is not true. You can absolutely grow larger fruit and vegetables in a very small space! Things like tomatoes, and even watermelon! Yep! But in this way, you could totally use smaller containers for smaller things, or plant many things in these type of grow bags! https://youtu.be/xKKuI-RHcvk
Well, I hope you’ve found these ideas helpful! Have you ever tried growing in a small space? What was your experience like? Please let us know in the comments! ~Love and Light~
My Facebook friend and artist Kimbooly Spooklings shared this, and I just had to snag it and share it here! It’s a hilarious take on Car Wash! So, I thought this was the perfect thing to post for my 2nd official Saturday Silliness Link Party! I hope it made you laugh, too!

I just had to tell you about a couple tools I recently discovered! They are screencasting or recording software or apps that are FREE and EASY! It just can’t get better than that!
The first, and my favorite is Screencast-O-Matic! It is SO easy to use! There is a Free version and a Paid version. The free version is pretty awesome, but only allows for 15 minute videos, and includes a watermark on your finished video. It does let you record your screen or webcam, and you can save it to your computer, or upload it directly to Youtube in HD, if you wish!
The paid version is a lot nicer! First, no watermark! Woo! Also, you can make longer recordings, and even record the audio coming from your computer! You can even make scripted recordings! Awesome sauce! Plus, there’s several editing tools, and even draw and zoom tools! And on top of being able to upload to Youtube, you can also upload to Google Drive, Vimeo Pro, and Dropbox. Sweet huh? I prefer the paid version. For only $15 you get a whole year! But my personal choice is the 3 year plan for $29, which means you get ONE WHOLE YEAR FREE!! I know, right?? But no matter which one you choose, they are all a great, simple choice!
The second, and not quite as fancy, but good for gamers, is a Windows product that comes on Windows 10 computers called Gamebar. All you have to do to start it is press your Windows key + G. Click the record button, or Windows + R. Turn the mic on and off with Win + Alt + M. When you start recording, you will see a timer in the upper right area of your screen. You can also stop recording by tapping that. The file saves automatically to your Videos folder. It is also accessible in your Xbox account on your computer.
